Job Description

Role & responsibilities :

Immediate Joiner's Only:

Location: Chennai and Pune

Total Years of Experience : 6 to 12 Years
Relevant Years of Experience : 4 Years Minimum
Primary Skill - Automation Testing, Selenium, Java
Secondary Skill - API Testing, BDD Cucumber

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts and frameworks
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results
• Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines
• Identify, log, and track defects while ensuring proper resolution
• Review test cases and improve automation coverage
• Mentor junior automation engineers and provide technical guidance
• Ensure adherence to testing standards, best practices, and quality benchmarks

Must to have

• 6 years of Hands on Experience in Automation is MUST
• Must have stakeholder management experience (minimum of 4 years)
• Good to have Team management experience (Minimum of 2 years , team of 4 to 6 )

Required Skills & Experience

• 610 years of experience in Software Testing, with strong focus on Automation
• Strong hands-on experience in Selenium Java automation tool/framework
• Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript)
• Experience with test execution, reporting, and defect management tools
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation execution in DevOps environments
• Strong understanding of software testing lifecycle and QA processes

Preferred Skills

• Experience in API automation (REST, SOAP)
• Exposure to BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow)
• Experience mentoring or leading small automation teams
• Domain knowledge relevant to the project (if applicable)

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and stakeholder interaction abilities
• High ownership, accountability, and proactive attitude
