As a Test Automation Engineer, a typical day involves applying quality processes and utilizing automation tools and methodologies to enhance testing products and solutions. The role includes overseeing the entire quality engineering function with a strong emphasis on automation, aiming to improve control, accuracy, and integrity throughout the testing lifecycle. This position requires a proactive approach to managing testing activities, ensuring that solutions are efficient and reliable while continuously seeking opportunities to optimize processes and outcomes.Roles Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and implement effective testing strategies.
- Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks to ensure scalability and robustness.
- Monitor and analyze test results to identify areas for improvement and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and assisting in their professional development.Professional Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills:
- Proficiency in Selenium.
- Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance principles.
- Ability to integrate automated tests with continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Familiarity with scripting languages and test management tools to support automation efforts.
- Capability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test automation frameworks and execution.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Selenium.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
