Job Description
What does a successful Business Analyst-Cloud do?
A successful Senior Business Analyst Cloud at Fiserv partners with Cloud Product Owners and subject matter experts to translate business goals into a clear, prioritized backlog that maximizes value from our cloud investments. You help align product strategy with cloud capabilities and constraints, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, cost-aware, and outcome-focused. You guide teams from vision to user story, connect strategy to execution, and champion strong product ownership practices across Fiserv Technology Services.
What you will do:
- Lead research and analysis to understand cloud product vision, business objectives, enduser problems, and translate them into features and user stories.
- Facilitate and manage a regular cadence of story mapping, story writing, review, and prioritization to maintain a wellrefined backlog that supports team velocity.
- Map and maintain feature and story dependencies, process maps, and current/future workflows to support prioritization and release planning.
- Apply cloud operating model concepts (security, risk, compliance, governance, shared responsibility) when shaping requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Support creation and maintenance of product strategy and roadmaps, ensuring alignment between business goals, cloud capabilities, and tactical delivery.
- Partner with Product Owners to define business value metrics and use them to drive valuebased prioritization and tradeoff decisions.
- Facilitate workshops and large remote sessions (20+ participants) with stakeholders across locations to align on requirements and outcomes.
- Help grow the Product Ownership practice by mentoring peers, sharing best practices, and leading internal improvement initiatives.
What you will need to have:
- 5+ years of experience on Agile software development teams performing business analysis responsibilities.
- 5+ years of experience working directly with business stakeholders to define product vision, goals, and roadmaps.
- 5+ years of experience creating process maps, gap analyses, user stories, and acceptance criteria in an Agile environment.
- 5+ years of experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP) including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and cloud cost/consumption concepts.
- Bachelors degree and/or equivalent military experience.
What would be great to have:
- Experience incorporating cloud security, compliance, risk, and governance requirements into analysis deliverables.
- Experience facilitating large inperson and remote workshops using digital collaboration tools.
- Experience supporting valuebased prioritization using cloud cost drivers, pricing, and billing constructs.
- Experience creating and maintaining story maps and product backlogs that align to strategic product roadmaps.
- Experience in consultingstyle roles demonstrating conflict resolution, stakeholder influence, and leading through ambiguity.
