Job Title: Qlikview/Qliksense Senior Developer

Job Description:

This role is responsible for design & development of BI Dashboards using QlikView andQlikSensetechnologies. The role demands proven hands on experience in the technology suite suggested. The role holder will work closely with the Business Owner as well as other IT and business stakeholders to help them make better business decisions specially in the area of Sales and Manufacturing.

1. Develop, design and test BI Reports and Dashboards based on user requirements.
2. Work with the customer to gather specifications for data and report requirements.
3. Effectively translate end user reporting requirements into functional design documents.
4. Able to comprehend complex tasks assigned and executes them with little to no supervision.
5. Technical Expertise - Expertise in a range of BI tools like Qlikview, QlikSense, NPrinting, Tableau, Power BI where Qlikview is a must to have.
6. Logical Thinking - Able to think analytically, use a systematic and logical approach to analyse data, problems, and situations. Notices discrepancies and inconsistencies in information and materials.
7. Communication - Able to convey ideas and information clearly and accurately to self or others whether in writing or verbal.
8. Handle Client Relationship - Manage client relationship and client expectations with minimum supervision. Should have excellent communication skills.
9. Maintain technical documentation up to date (as agreed with BI Team).
10. Ensure the technical delivery of any new application is fully compliant with BI standards, leveraging the full capabilities of the software to meet the business need.

Work Experience:

At least 4 years of experience working in DW or BI environment with hands on experience in QlikView is a must. Aware of techniques such as: UI design, Report modelling, performance tuning and regression testing. Good to have domain knowledge of Retail and Manufacturing.
