Position Title: Sales Manager West Africa (Food Ingredients / Vitamins & Minerals / Chemicals)


Job Location: Mumbai, India


Experience:5-7 years


Industry Preference: Food Ingredients / Vitamins & Minerals / Specialty Chemicals


Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to manage and grow our business in the West African market. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in international sales within food ingredients, vitamins & minerals, or chemical products, along with proven exposure to overseas customer handling and frequent travel.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage sales operations for assigned West African countries
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, key accounts, and end customers
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with customers
  • Coordinate with internal teams (procurement, logistics, finance, and quality) to ensure smooth order execution
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory requirements in the region
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth
  • Represent the company at international exhibitions, trade fairs, and customer meetings

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 57 years of relevant sales experience in Food Ingredients / Vitamins & Minerals / Chemical industry
  • Proven experience handling international customers, preferably in West Africa
  • Strong understanding of export sales processes, documentation, and logistics
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively across assigned territories
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems

Language Requirements:

  • English:
  • French: Added advantage

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Based in Mumbai or willing to relocate
  • Prior international travel experience for business development and customer meetings
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of working independently
  • Strong commercial acumen and market development mindset

Compensation: Best in line with industry standards and commensurate with experience
