Job Summary

The Unit HR Manager will drive HR operations and talent acquisition for two hotel units in Baner, Pune. This role focuses on ensuring efficient HR processes, seamless hiring, and building a strong workforce aligned with hospitality service standards.


Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for both hotel properties (front office, housekeeping, F&B, kitchen, and support functions).
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and timelines.
  • Source candidates through job portals, consultants, referrals, and campus hiring.
  • Conduct interviews, coordinate selection rounds, and ensure timely closures.
  • Maintain a strong talent pipeline for critical and high-turnover roles.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and induction of new employees.

2. HR Operations

  • Oversee daily HR operations for both units, ensuring smooth functioning.
  • Maintain employee records, documentation, and HRIS data.
  • Manage attendance, leave, and shift records in coordination with department heads.
  • Support payroll inputs and ensure accuracy with finance/vendor.
  • Ensure timely issuance of offer letters, contracts, and HR letters.
  • Standardize HR processes across both properties.

3. Compliance (Operational Scope)

  • Ensure adherence to statutory requirements (PF, ESIC, labor laws).
  • Maintain compliance records and support audits.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and internal teams for documentation.

4. Reporting & Coordination

  • Track recruitment metrics (TAT, cost per hire, offer vs joining ratio).
  • Provide regular HR operations reports (headcount, attendance, attrition trends).
  • Coordinate closely with hotel unit heads for manpower planning and workforce efficiency.

Key Requirements

Education

  • MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent

Experience

  • 4-7 years of HR experience with strong focus on recruitment + HR operations
  • Hospitality or service industry experience preferred
