Job Description

Title: Senior Manager F&A (O2C)

Working days: 5 days (Saturday & Sunday week off)

Shift Timing: 4.30 pm to 1.30 am IST

Work Location: Mumbai (Goregaon- Nesco)

Experience: 12-15 years of experience including a minimum 5 years into managing 10 to 12-member team.

Job Purpose

This position is into supervision of Cash Application & related process.

Managerial Responsibilities-

  • Provide overall leadership for planning, staffing, goal setting, budgeting, supporting system initiatives and implementing new processes and policies
  • Cultivates an environment that encourages maximum productivity and service effectiveness, professional development, open communication, and teamwork
  • Ensure that adequate training and training materials are provided to the Team

Functional Responsibilities

  • Timely and accurate accounting of Receipts from customer on daily basis and as per defined Policies and Procedures.
  • Tracking of invoice cancellations & credit memos.
  • Timely and accurate accounting of ADD and write off as per defined Policies and Procedures.
  • Reconciliation of Customer Ledger, identifying gaps and taking to closure with stakeholders.
  • Follow-up with onshore/customer for cleanup of unidentified credits
  • Prepare and publish required MIS reports on regular interval
  • Develop, document, implement and manage Cash Application processes, controls and systems to ensure appropriate level of internal control
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate design, review, posting and reconciliation of month end close specifically related to Customer MDM
  • Ownership of KPI delivery, and improvements where required, on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Commerce (Preferred Postgraduate-Finance)

Experience:

  • Relevant years of experience in Shared Services with experience in Cash Application process
  • Technically strong, with a working knowledge of Cash Application process
  • Deep end-to-end expertise in Cash Application activity and W-off activity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout Company organization
  • Having hands on experience on systems i.e., SAP and MS Office.
  • Escalate issues to appropriate personnel to get timely resolution

Functional Competencies:

  • Knowledge, skills and experience in executing activities for Cash Application, Provision for Doubtful Debts and W-off for a large multinational company
  • Should have understanding client needs, focus points, adding & delivering value
  • Should be Aware of the Best Practices / Business Insights
