We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Professional to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting monthly closing processes, financial reporting, audit activities, and reconciliation tasks and working knowledge of India GST. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform monthly closing activities and prepare financial reports in accordance with company policies and deadlines.
- Conduct variance analysis and assist in financial preparations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare various dashboards as required by management showing the performance of various business verticals.
- Working knowledge of India GST laws and filing returns like GSTR 3B, GSTR1 , GSTR9/9C, prepare responses for notices received under GST laws.
- Assist in various audit assignments including tax audits, cost audits, and internal audits.
- Manage month-end closure activities, including the reporting of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss movements.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations, including 26AS vs GL and IFRS vs Local GAAP reconciliations.
- Support ad hoc accounting, analysis, and reporting tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting and GST.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP), and audit processes and Tax laws.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent.
- Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems.
