Job Title: Deputy Manager Payment Operations
Location: Mumbai, Powai HO
Department: Finance
Job Summary:
- We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Payment Operations Executive to manage payment gateway operations, collection , merchant banking activities, and payment-related queries. The role requires strong coordination skills and accuracy in handling financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor payment gateway operations to ensure smooth and timely transactions
- Handle payments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timeline
- Coordinate with banks for merchant banking activities including settlements and reconciliations
- Oversee gateway management, including issue resolution and performance tracking
- Process and execute bulk payments efficiently
- Handle and resolve payment-related queries from internal and external stakeholders
- Perform daily reconciliation of transactions and identify discrepancies
- Maintain proper documentation and records of all payment activities
- Liaise with internal teams for seamless payment processing
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field (B.Com, BBA, etc.)
- 69 years of experience in payment operations / finance role
- Basic knowledge of payment gateways, banking processes, and reconciliations
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in MS Excel
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in e-commerce or fintech industry
- Knowledge of digital payments, UPI, net banking, and wallets
