Job Description: Accessibility Tester

Overview

We are looking for a G5-level Accessibility Tester specialized in the European Accessibility Act (EAA) compliance to ensure products meet EAA requirements and provide accessible experiences across the EU market.

Responsibilities

• Perform accessibility testing focused on compliance with the European Accessibility Act and WCAG 2.1/2.2 standards.
• Use assistive technologies and manual methods to identify accessibility gaps in websites, apps, and digital services.
• Document accessibility defects clearly with actionable recommendations aligned to EAA regulations.
• Collaborate with development, design, and compliance teams to implement fixes and maintain EAA compliance.
• Maintain test scripts and reports specific to EAA requirements.
• Keep current with changes in EU accessibility laws, standards, and best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in accessibility testing with knowledge of EAA, WCAG, and related EU standards.
• Hands-on experience with screen readers (e.g., NVDA, JAWS) and other assistive technologies.
• Familiarity with automated accessibility tools like Axe, WAVE, and Lighthouse.
• Basic coding knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to identify technical barriers.
• Ability to communicate accessibility issues effectively to diverse teams.
• EAA or European accessibility certification is advantageous.
