Job Description

Scope of Work

The Direct-to-Customer (DTC) business aims to tap into a 50 million homes market opportunity in India by offering simplified services and consistent customer experiences.

A Territory Sales Manager (TSM) drives broadband business growth across one large or several small towns, managing a frontline team of 18-25 sales executives.


Expected Deliverables

Network & Operations

  • Ensure network expansion and timely installations in coordination with Planning and Project teams.
  • Track performance and governance of a large off-roll team.

Sales & Market Development

  • Manage online leads effectively.
  • Understand local market demographics and boost visibility through BTL (Below-The-Line) activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with residential societies and local associations to support rollout.

Business Growth

  • Drive upselling and crossselling for both new and existing customers.
  • Build a serve-to-grow culture in stores.

Team & Execution Excellence

  • Implement robust planning for strong start of initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent execution discipline across all programs.
  • Simplify communication for field teams.
  • Keep teams motivated through structured connects, rituals, and recognition.

Stakeholder & Partner Management

  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage partners in LCO (Local Cable Operator) towns when applicable.

What It Takes (Key Skills & Attributes)

  • Knowledge of broadband and network systems.
  • Analytical mindset with basic MS Office skills.
  • Strong drive for results and execution excellence.
  • Ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to influence and build/maintain strong relationships.
