Job Description

Key Skills: Storage Engineering, Application Support Operations, Application Support, BSS (Business Support Systems), Incident Management, Production Support, Troubleshooting, Monitoring Tools, Backup & Recovery, Storage Performance Tuning

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide end-to-end application and storage support for BSS (Business Support Systems) environments
• Monitor storage systems, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure optimal performance and availability
• Handle storage provisioning, capacity management, backup/recovery, and storage performance tuning
• Resolve production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network, database, and application teams, to resolve complex issues
• Maintain documentation for storage configurations, processes, and incident resolutions
• Participate in on-call rotations to support critical business applications in a 24/7 environment
• Assist in planning and implementing storage upgrades, patches, and migrations
• Follow ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management
• Provide recommendations for storage optimization, automation, and process improvements

Experience Required:

• 2 - 5 years of experience in Engineering, Application Support, or BSS operations
• Hands-on experience with storage technologies (SAN/NAS, backup solutions, disk arrays)
• Knowledge of BSS platforms and their storage requirements
• Experience in troubleshooting production incidents and implementing fixes
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and reporting mechanisms for storage systems
• Understanding of ITIL processes and operational best practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-pressure, 24/7 environment

Education: Any Graduation
