Job Description

Role & Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable cloud data architectures for analytics, BI, and data science.
• Build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks, Spark, AWS Glue, and Lambda.
• Create and maintain data models, schemas, and cloud architecture blueprints.
• Work with AWS services (S3, Redshift, Athena, DynamoDB, EMR)/Azure.
• Ensure data governance, quality, and security across platforms.
• Optimize pipelines for performance and availability.
• Support BI modernization and transition from Qlik to Sigma BI.
• Collaborate with data science, engineering, and business teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 12+ years of experience in Data Architecture / Data Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS + Databricks + Spark.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Scala.
• Strong knowledge of data lakes, warehouses, relational DBs.
• Experience with BI tools (Qlik, Sigma, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
• Exposure to real-time pipelines (Kafka/Flink) is a plus.
• Familiarity with ML workflows preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
