Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Application Architecture & Development

• Canvas & Model-Driven Apps: Design high-performance Canvas apps for mobile/tablet and Model-driven apps for complex, data-heavy business processes.
• Complex Logic: Implement advanced logic using Power Fx, custom JavaScript/TypeScript, and the Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) for custom UI controls.
• Data Modeling: Architect scalable data structures using Microsoft Dataverse, ensuring proper relationships, security roles, and business rules.

Automation & Orchestration

• Power Automate (Cloud & Desktop): Build intricate cloud flows (automated, scheduled, and instant) and utilize Robotic Process Automation (RPA) through Desktop flows for legacy system automation.
• Error Handling: Implement robust "Try-Catch-Finally" patterns and monitoring for mission-critical workflows.
• Custom Connectors: Develop custom API wrappers (REST/SOAP) to connect the Power Platform to internal or third-party services.

Strategy & Governance

• ALM (Application Lifecycle Management): Set up CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions to manage solution deployments across Dev, Test, and Prod environments.
• Center of Excellence (CoE): Lead or contribute to the establishment of a CoE to monitor app usage, enforce security policies, and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
• Legacy Migration: Lead projects to migrate legacy InfoPath forms, SharePoint Designer workflows, or Lotus Notes to the Power Platform.

Preferred Certifications

At 6 years, having at least one of these is often a requirement for senior roles:

• PL-400: Microsoft Power Platform Developer (Core Technical)
• PL-200: Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant
• PL-600: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (Highly Recommended)
