Job Description for Senior Data Analyst:
- 8+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role.
- Deep hands on experience with Amplitude behavioral analytics, funnels, experiments, cohorts, journeys, retention analysis, etc.
- Strong statistical and analytical capability (A/B testing, hypothesis testing, segmentation).
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker or similar).
- Ability to turn raw data into clear stories and actionable recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Strong problem solving skills and sense of ownership.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
- Passion for product thinking and continuous improvement.
- Product & User Analytics

- Leverage Amplitude to analyze user behavior, product funnels, retention, activation, and engagement trends.
- Build and maintain dashboards, cohorts, behavioral reports, and custom event analytics.
- Work with product managers to identify opportunities for improving user experience and product adoption.
- Translate complex data findings into actionable insights for business and product stakeholders.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover trends, anomalies, and strategic opportunities.
- Present insights in a clear, structured manner to leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Own end to end data validation, event instrumentation requirements, and governance for product analytics.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate data tracking, schema design, and event taxonomy.
- Define key product metrics (KPIs) and establish robust reporting mechanisms.
- Build automated reports and dashboards using Amplitude and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau/Looker).
- Work closely with Product, UX, Engineering, Marketing, and Leadership teams to drive data-informed decisions.
- Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
