Department: Wholesale Banking
Role: Credit Analyst / Credit Manager
Location: Delhi/Bangalore
Experience Required: 25 years (or as per your requirement)
About the Role
We are hiring for the Business Banking Group (BBG) within the Wholesale Banking vertical. The role involves endtoend credit assessment, credit appraisal, and proposal preparation for Working Capital and Term Loan facilities with a typical ticket size of 1015 Crores.
The ideal candidate must have strong experience in evaluating creditworthiness of SME, MidCorporate, and Business Banking clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle credit assessment for Working Capital and Term Loan proposals (1015 Cr ticket size).
- Conduct financial statement analysis, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, ratio analysis, projections, and stress testing.
- Prepare credit appraisal memos (CAM) / detailed credit notes for internal approvals.
- Assess business models, banking patterns, industry risks, and customer due diligence.
- Conduct site visits, management interactions, and customer profiling.
- Coordinate with Relationship Managers, Risk, Legal, and Compliance teams for smooth processing of proposals.
- Monitor portfolio performance and flag early warning signals.
- Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and RBI guidelines.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in Wholesale Banking / Business Banking / SME / MidCorporate lending.
- Hands-on exposure to:
- Working Capital assessment
- Term Loan evaluation
- Analysis of financials, projections & cash flows
- Credit appraisal & credit underwriting
- Strong understanding of collateral evaluation, security structures, and documentation.
- Knowledge of banking regulations and internal credit policy frameworks.
- Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
Preferred Background
- Prior experience in banks or NBFCs in a credit role.
- CA / MBA (Finance) preferred, but not mandatory if candidate has strong credit experience.
