Tax Compliance Analyst - (Contract role : 7 months - WFO, Bangalore)

A Day in the Life Your day will be filled with strategic problem-solving and detailed analysis. You'll navigate intricate VAT compliance landscapes, investigate seller registration statuses, and collaborate with tax authorities across multiple European jurisdictions. Each task you complete directly supports Amazon's commitment to maintaining transparent and compliant financial operations.

About the Team We are a collaborative and innovative group dedicated to ensuring tax compliance across Amazon's European marketplaces. Our team values precision, continuous improvement, and cross-functional communication. We work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain the highest standards of financial governance.

This is a Contract role : 7 months - Work from Office, Bangalore

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• Any corporate experience with minimum 1 year is sufficient
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English is mandatory

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in accounting, finance, or tax compliance
• Experience with international tax regulations
• Advanced knowledge of financial systems
• Multilingual capabilities
• Experience in e-commerce or digital marketplace environments

Key Job Responsibilities

• Verify VAT registration and compliance status for third-party sellers across European markets
• Prepare and submit transactional data to tax authorities
• Manage marketplace access for sellers based on their VAT compliance
• Support VAT registration processes in various jurisdictions
• Investigate and respond to complex VAT compliance queries
