Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain SAP BO Universes and WebI reports.
- Troubleshoot report issues, optimize performance, and ensure data integrity.
- Design and produce basic data insights and analysis writing queries directly on SQL Server.
- Implement Change Requests (CRs), support SIT/UAT phases, and manage production releases.
- Collaborate with BAs, architects, and global teams to deliver scalable, business-aligned solutions.
- Provide production support, reduce manual overhead, and ensure audit compliance.
- Draft technical specifications, participate in peer reviews, and follow Agile practices.
- Liaise with RTB teams to resolve escalated issues and support releases.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of Strong hands-on experience with SAP BO 4.1 (IDT, UDT, WebI) and will be an advantage if worked on Business Objects BI 2025.
- Extensive experience in upgrading and migrating SAP Business Objects Universes and Reports to newer versions, including version transitions to Business Objects 4.x or Business Objects BI 2025.
- Expertise in Universe Designer, SQL/T-SQL, performance tuning, and report migration.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control tools (e.g., Git).
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coach and mentor teams
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Can work independently with minimum supervision
- Flexible and adaptable working style to work with multiple stakeholders
- Open to work in UK Shift (10 AM to 9 PM IST with 8 hours of productive work)
Good to Have
- Experience with SAP Live Office development.
- Knowledge of SAP BO CMC, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), and financial services domain.
- Understanding of data blending, user security, and large-scale BI environments.
- Experience with QlikSense, Power BI, or Tableau.
