 Business Development Manager

Job Description

    1. Client Relationship Management & Account Growth
    • Act as the primary point of contact for key client accounts across metro cities.
    • Build, nurture, and maintain long-term client relationships through regular engagement, in-person meetings, and field visits (twice a month).
    • Understand client business needs, identify opportunities for expansion, and proactively propose value-added solutions.
    • Conduct regular review meetings with clients to assess service delivery, gather feedback, and ensure high satisfaction levels.
    • Develop client account plans to drive retention and revenue growth.
    1. Business Development
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the telecom and allied sectors.
    • Prepare and deliver impactful presentations, proposals, and solutions tailored to client requirements.
    • Negotiate and finalize commercial terms with new and existing clients.
    • Collaborate with the internal leadership team to design and execute sales strategies.
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities.
    1. Service Delivery Coordination (Minimal Recruitment Involvement)
    • Coordinate with internal operations and recruitment teams to ensure timely deployment of manpower as per client requirements.
    • Oversee onboarding, compliance, and documentation processes for deployed personnel (without direct recruitment involvement).
    • Address and resolve operational challenges or escalations in coordination with internal teams.
    1. Operations & Workforce Management
    • Manage end-to-end staffing operations, including onboarding, compliance, timesheet management, and field staff coordination.
    • Resolve operational challenges, address escalations, and ensure smooth deployment of manpower.
    • Coordinate with payroll and HR for documentation and statutory compliance of deployed personnel.
    • Oversee logistics, travel plans, and operational SOPs for technical staff.
    1. Reporting & Strategic Planning
    • Prepare periodic business performance reports, sales forecasts, and client account updates.
    • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, and revenue pipelines.

    Track KPIs related to client retention, account growth, and service delivery excellence.

    Required Skills & Competencies

    • Strong business acumen and proven ability to grow client accounts.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Relationship-building expertise with senior stakeholders.
    • Ability to travel regularly across major metro cities for client engagement.
    • Proactive, self-motivated, and target-driven with a problem-solving approach.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelors degree (preferably in Business, Marketing, or related field); MBA is a plus.
    • 58 years of experience in business development, account management, or client servicing in a staffing, telecom, or service-based industry.
    • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and growing strategic accounts.

    Travel Requirement

    • Willingness to travel to client sites in major metro cities (as required).

    Compensation

    • As per industry standards and experience.
