Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Design and develop robust backend services using Java (7+) and Spring Boot.
• Build dynamic and responsive front-end interfaces using Angular (10+).
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and QA engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and uphold coding standards.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technology roadmaps.
• Ensure compliance with retail data privacy and security regulations.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with retail platforms, e-commerce systems, or customer engagement tools.
• Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, GCP)
• Experience with Kubernetes, GraphQL, or ElasticSearch.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of retail analytics, personalization engines, or loyalty programs.

Education

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
