Python Developer Lead @ Cognizant

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable microservices using Python as the primary language.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
  
• Ensure high-quality code by writing unit tests, integrating with CI/CD pipelines, and following best practices for coding standards.
  
• Troubleshoot issues related to RESTful APIs, web services, and database interactions.
  
• Participate in Agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 6-11 years of experience in software development with expertise in Python programming language.
  
• Strong understanding of Microservices architecture and its implementation using various frameworks (e.g., Django).
  
• Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs using Flask or similar technologies.
  
• Experience working with databases (SQL) for data storage and retrieval.
