Job Description:

• Candidates need to be strong in SwiftUI - should have been using SwiftUI for at least the last two years and able to demonstrate this skill in coding interview. Should be very familiar with SwiftUI components like NavigationView, NavigationStack, List, HStack, VStack, ZStack, ScrollView, TabView, Image, Label, Text, Spacer, Alert, ProgressView etc. Should also be familiar with common modifiers (font, padding, background, onTapGesture, toolbar, etc), presentation modifiers (.sheet, .popover, .fullScreenCover) as well as how to write custom modifiers.
• Proficient at building app UI using MVVM architecture.
• Good understanding of state management, binding data model to UI - @ObservableObject / @ObservedObject, @StateObject, @State, @Binding, @EnvironmentObject
• Experience with Codable - Encodable and Decodable protocols (JSONEncoder, JSONDecoder) for encoding and decoding data from JSON to Objects and back for things like saving to disk or transmitting/receiving over the network.
• Experience with asynchronous operations - Combine, Async/Await, GCD
• Experience writing automated tests - both unit tests and UI tests using Apple frameworks (XCTest, XCUITest, Testing)
• Familiar with networking code - URLSession, URL, URLComponents, Error handling, etc.
