Skilled Automation Software Test Engineer with strong manual testing experience to join our QA team. The Software Test Engineer will be responsible for testing our Windows-based Audio/Video Management Software (VMS) through both automated scripts (using Ranorex or similar tools) and manual test cases. The role involves maintaining automation frameworks, executing test plans, logging bugs in JIRA, and supporting CI/CD processes via Jenkins. This is a hands-on role in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality software. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for Windows-based applications using Ranorex or similar tools. Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and test suites. Execute both automated and manual test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Write and manage test cases, test plans, and bug reports using JIRA. Conduct manual testing for Windows desktop applications. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. Log, track, and verify defects; perform root cause analysis and regression testing. Prepare detailed test reports and communicate findings to stakeholders. Ensure adherence to QA best practices, standards, and regulatory requirements. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation. Hands-on experience with Ranorex or similar automation tools for Windows applications. Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD integration. Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies, including test case design and execution. Familiarity with Windows OS, including virtual machines and server environments. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Knowledge of audio/video compression and encoding technologies. Exposure to IP CCTV Cameras and Video Management Systems. Basic knowledge of SQL and scripting for test data validation. Familiarity with Linux OS is a plus. Experience with performance and security testing. Bachelor's degree in electronics/electrical/computer science/instrumentation
