We are seeking a senior AI / Generative AI expert with 6+ years of overall software engineering experience and 3+ years of hands-on experience in AI and Generative AI, to build end-to-end Agentic AI solutions focused on migration, legacy modernization, and enterprise system transformation
What will your job look like?
- Design and develop end-to-end AI and Generative AI solutions, including Agentic AI workflows for migration and modernization use cases.
- Build POCs and production-grade AI solutions to support application, code, and data migration initiatives.
- Apply AI techniques to analyze, understand, and transform legacy systems into modern architectures.
- Evaluate, select, fine-tune, and optimize foundation models for migration-specific scenarios (code understanding, refactoring, translation, documentation).
- Build AI pipelines covering data ingestion, embeddings, RAG, agents, evaluation, and monitoring.
- Apply prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and LoRA/PEFT to improve accuracy in migration-related tasks.
- Integrate AI solutions with Java- and C#-based applications and enterprise platforms.
- Deploy and operate AI workloads across AWS, Azure, and GCP, supporting large-scale modernization programs.
- Ensure scalability, security, reliability, and responsible AI practices.
- Collaborate with migration, product, and engineering teams to convert legacy transformation needs into AI-driven accelerators.
All you need is...
AI / GenAI expertise 3+ years of hands-on experience in AI and Generative AI, including LLM-based systems. Deep understanding of LLMs, embeddings, transformers, and agentic patterns. Experience building Agentic AI systems for multi-step, tool-driven workflows. Hands-on experience with model evaluation, fine-tuning, and optimization.Core experience & SDLC 6+ years of overall software engineering experience, with strong exposure to SDLC, system design, and architecture. Proven experience designing and delivering production-grade systems, not just prototypes. Strong understanding of enterprise architectures, system integration, and scalability considerations.Migration, legacy & technical skills Proficiency in Python, with working knowledge of Java and/or C#. Experience supporting or delivering application, code, or platform migration initiatives. Understanding of legacy systems and technologies (e.g., COBOL, JCL, batch processing) or strong experience in legacy modernization programs. Experience deploying AI solutions on AWS, Azure, and/or GCP. Ability to take AI-driven migration POCs to production-grade solutions. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred qualifications Experience with code analysis, refactoring, or translation tools. Familiarity with RAG architectures and vector databases for code and documentation retrieval. Experience with LLMOps / MLOps in large-scale transformation programs. Exposure to enterprise-scale modernization or platform engineering.Nice to have Hands-on experience with legacy codebases (mainframe, batch systems, procedural languages). Experience with multi-modal AI (text, code, diagrams). Knowledge of responsible AI, governance, and security in regulated environments. Contributions to migration accelerators, internal tools, or open-source projects.
