Mandatory Qualification
MBBS + MD (Pharmacology)
(Both degrees are compulsory. Applications without MBBS + MD Pharmacology will not be considered.)
Role Overview
We are hiring a Medical Advisor for our Mumbai Corporate Headquarters. This role is open to fresh MD Pharmacology graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience who are passionate about building a career in Pharmaceutical Medical Affairs.
The Medical Advisor will support medical strategy execution, scientific communication, medical review, compliance, and internal training, working closely with Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, and Pharmacovigilance teams.
Key Responsibilities
Medical & Scientific Support
- Provide accurate medical and scientific inputs for assigned products and therapy areas
- Support medical strategy implementation under guidance of senior medical leadership
- Review clinical data, scientific literature, and treatment guidelines
Medical Review & Compliance
- Review promotional and nonpromotional materials for medical accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Ensure adherence to internal SOPs, CDSCO/DCGI norms, and company policies
- Support timely responses to medical information queries
Medical Content Development
- Assist in development and review of:
- Scientific monographs
- Product FAQs
- Visual aids and training presentations
- Translate complex clinical data into simplified, compliant medical communication
Training & Internal Engagement
- Support medical training programs for Sales and Marketing teams
- Participate in product launch and ongoing therapyarea training initiatives
- Provide scientific support during brand reviews and internal discussions
External Medical Activities (Support Role)
- Assist in coordination of CMEs, advisory boards, and scientific meetings
- Support engagement with healthcare professionals under supervision
- Capture and share scientific insights from external interactions
PV & Regulatory Support
- Support Pharmacovigilance in medical assessment of adverse events
- Assist Regulatory Affairs with medical inputs for submissions and responses
Eligibility Criteria
Education (Mandatory)
MBBS
MD Pharmacology
Experience
- Freshers (MD Pharmacology) OR
- Up to 1 year of experience in:
- Medical Affairs
- Pharmaceutical / Healthcare / Life Sciences organisations
- Dissertation, internship, or research exposure during MD will be an added advantage
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of clinical pharmacology
- Ability to interpret and summarize scientific literature
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- High ethical standards and strong compliance orientation
- Basic proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Willingness to learn and work in crossfunctional teams
