Job Description
Java Developer - Sr Member Technical - G2L2 - IND165676
Major Responsibilities:
- Work closely with product management, product development teams to develop a strong understanding of the product and business objectives
- Expert in the relevant technologies and can provide design/architectural solutions that meets operational requirements in addition to functional requirements
- Consistently demonstrated ability to exceed the requirements of a Programmer/Developer
- Research and development oriented and abreast of the current trends in the relevant technology trends and application of the same in products
- Participate and champion best development practices, standards, architecture
- Provide appropriate technical visibility to all stakeholders
- Handle complications arising from the development of new software, maintenance of legacy software
- Exemplary general IT knowledge (applications development, testing, deployment, operations, documentation, standards, best practices, security, hardware, networking, OS, DBMS, middleware, etc.)
- Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
- Actively contribute to product innovation by leveraging latest trends in Technical and software architecture space
- Develop, contribute and lead the Technical Roadmap effort
- Subject matter expertise in the relevant technology and can influence technology decision making
Requirements:
- Excellent Design and programming/Coding skills to address business and technical use cases
- Good knowledge of J2EE, web services (Java, JavaScript, HTML, XML, OOA and OOD Concepts), Spring/Spring Boot and Hibernate or any other ORM tool
- Experience developing web applications and web services (RESTFul) using HTML 5/CSS3/JavaScript.
- Knowledge of platforms and technologies including evaluating marketplace solutions to suit business needs in a high - availability, clustered environment
- Experience with interaction of legacy systems and phased application integration
- Excellent problem solving, excellent interpersonal skills and analytical skills with exquisite attention to detail, ability to think strategically and logically
- Ability to understand and analyze server log files
- Strong organizational skills, tracking multiple development tasks simultaneously and can synthesize concrete results
- Excellent knowledge of database and writing/debugging SQL queries, PL/SQL programs
- Understanding of Cross browser development
- Proven track record in writing and understanding automated unit test scripts
- Demonstrated creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Has a strong sense of ownership for the Technical architecture of product
- Ability to self - evaluate and quickly adapt to changes
- Expertise and experience in lightweight, rapid development, agile methodologies and Tools
Qualification:
- 3-6 years of overall experience in software development
- BE/BTech from a recognized institution
