Location: Gurgaon
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, PySpark, and Airflow, with a proven ability to work on large-scale data processing systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust ETL pipelines for data ingestion and transformation.
- Develop and optimize workflows using Airflow for scheduling and orchestration.
- Work with PySpark to process and analyze large datasets efficiently.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data availability and quality.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure reliability and performance.
- Implement best practices for data security, governance, and compliance.
Skills Required
- Programming: Python (advanced), PySpark.
- Workflow Management: Airflow.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and big data technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Hands-on experience with big data tools and frameworks.
