Role & Responsibilities
Onboard new Canadian payroll clientseither by migrating from their previous payroll provider or setting up payroll from the ground up.
Process accurate payroll runs on weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly frequencies as required by each client.
Review, investigate, and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly while maintaining complete documentation.
Assist clients in managing source deductions such as CPP, EI, and income tax, along with other employer-provided benefits and retirement savings plans.
Support clients and employees with questions related to tax deductions, TD1 forms, ROEs, and year-end reporting (T4/T4A).
Analyze and support corrections related to pay statements, T4/T4A forms, and other payroll-related documents.
Identify recurring issues and provide insights or recommendations to internal product and process teams.
Create, update, and maintain onboarding documentation, SOPs, and support materials.
Periodically update the knowledge base to improve client self-service capabilities.
Handle personal and confidential employee information in strict adherence to privacy and data-security policies.
Proactively collect client feedback and propose improvements to onboarding, payroll processing, and overall support experience.
