About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with strong expertise in Supply Chain Management within the Consumer & Retail domain. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of inventory, procurement, logistics, and distribution processes along with proven capability in driving end-to-end project delivery, people management, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Analysis & Optimization
- Conduct detailed analysis of supply chain processes including inventory management, procurement, logistics, and distribution.
- Evaluate existing systems, workflows, and processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation or optimization.
- Recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency, cost optimization, and service delivery.
Project & Program Management
- Lead complex projects across design, build, test, and release phases with a strong focus on quality, productivity, timelines, and budget adherence.
- Drive Transition Management, Rollouts, Release Management, and AMS support.
- Manage project sizing, estimation, solutioning, and ensure robust project financial controls.
People & Performance Leadership
- Provide leadership across people management, performance reviews, utilization planning, upskilling, and rewards & recognition initiatives.
- Mentor cross-functional teams to ensure high performance and delivery excellence.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Partner closely with vertical leadership and horizontal practices on solutioning initiatives.
- Support Sales teams with RFP responses, case study presentations, solution reviews, and client visit discussions.
- Ensure smooth collaboration with internal and external stakeholders for seamless delivery.
Service Delivery & Support Model Design
- Develop and implement cost-effective support models for application maintenance, enhancements, and design-build engagements.
- Ensure SLA-driven operations with a strong focus on process improvement and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills & Expertise
- 15+ years of strong experience in Project Management within Supply Chain & Retail.
- Expertise in Inventory Management, Procurement, Logistics & Distribution processes.
- Solid experience in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / others).
- Proven experience in Transition Management, Rollouts, Release Management & AMS.
- Strong analytical, solutioning, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent people management, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
Good to Have
- Experience in developing case studies, business proposals, and client-facing solution documents.
- Certifications such as PMP, Prince2, ITIL, Six Sigma will be an added advantage.
