Job Description
About Role:
NHA is seeking a motivated and talented Performance Test Engineer with a strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and tools.
The role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing performance tests to assess the performance, scalability, and reliability of IT systems and applications.
The ideal candidate will focus on ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our software products.
Qualifications:
B.E/B.TECH OR MCA from a reputed college/University
Technical Experience & Competencies
Total IT experience of minimum 8 years with working as Performance Test Engineer role or similar testing roles post qualification completion.
Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Java, Python, etc for test script development.
Strong understanding of web technologies, protocols, and architectures, including HTTP, REST, SOAP, and microservices.
Experience with performance monitoring and profiling tools such as AppDynamics, New Relic, or Dynatrace.
Knowledge of database systems and SQL query optimization techniques
Project execution experience on Performance testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner tools
Strong background in performance testing methodologies and tools
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases to test performance of APIs, applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Certifications Certification on any Load testing tool like JMeter, Load runner is preferred Key Mandate
Design, develop, and execute performance test plans and scripts based on user workloads.
Simulate various load conditions, including peak loads, stress loads, and endurance tests.
Generate test data for performance benchmarks and ensure tests mimic real-world usage.
Understand and work with Non-Functional Requirements.
Analyse test results and coordinate with development teams for bug fixes.
Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
Ensure IT systems meet performance requirements under various load conditions.
Participate in performance tuning activities, including code optimization, database tuning, and configuration changes.
Document test results and produce performance risk assessments.
