Job Description
Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Sales & GTM professional with 10+ years of experience in Manufacturing industries, preferably in the context of SAP solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in understanding manufacturing Industry processes for asset maintenance, manufacturing execution, quality management, etc, relevant SAP solutions, and business processes. This role requires the ability to reach out to business teams of manufacturing organizations and help in business development for lead generation and sales.
Location: Bangalore/ Mysuru/ Mangalore/ Bhubaneswar/ Kolkata/ Chandigarh
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Manufacturing/Industry 4.0 (Must Have):
- Analyse market trends, competitor initiatives, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation in manufacturing Industry.
- Plan and execute business development activities in collaboration with product team, marketing team and Sales team.
- Requirements Gathering (Must Have):
- Engage with business users and IT teams of the client to gather and document high level business requirements related to manufacturing industry initiatives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of business needs.
- SAP Landscape (Good to Have):
- Leverage SAP expertise to identify opportunities for manufacturing, plant maintenance, field services, concepts and define solutions on SAP BTP Landscape.
- Understand SAP solutions (PP, IBP, DM, APM, etc) and identify gaps to propose extension solutions on top of SAP core solutions.
- Knowledge on SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing
- Proposal Development (Must Have):
- Develop detailed proposals, including project scopes, objectives, timelines, resource requirements, and cost estimates.
- Present proposals to stakeholders, addressing their concerns and questions effectively.
- Experience developing solution functional architecture for proposals.
- Documentation and Reporting(Must Have):
- Maintain details documents for proposals, estimates, BRDs and support documents.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on Business development activities.
- Masters preferred but at least bachelors degree in industrial engineering
- 10+ years of experience as a Industry/SAP sales, Business Analyst or relevant roles
- Proven experience in proposal development and implementation of preferably SAP solutions.
- Basic knowledge of SAP solutions, including SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, and BTP is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills is a must.
- Awareness of manufacturing and supply chain processes
- Exposed to project management methodologies and SDLC
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
