Job Description

We are looking for an L2 Cloud & Container Platform Engineer with hands-on experience in Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, Docker, and Linux administration. The role involves supporting private cloud and cloud-native platforms, managing containerized workloads, virtualization environments, and assisting DevOps operations.

Key Responsibilities

• L2 support for Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift platforms.
  
• Deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of containerized applications.
  
• Linux system administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
  
• Support on-prem Docker environments and container lifecycle management.
  
• Monitor platform performance using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK.
  
• Support virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi, KVM, Hyper-V).
  
• Assist CI/CD pipelines and DevOps initiatives.
  
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, container, and basic networking issues.
  
• Evaluate and test new tools and technologies for private cloud platforms.
  
• Work closely with L3 teams for escalations and improvements.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 35 years of experience in Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, Docker, and Linux.
  
• Graduation in Computer Science / IT or related field.
  
• Strong Linux administration skills (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
  
• RHCE certification (mandatory).
  
• Hands-on experience in Kubernetes installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  
• Knowledge of Docker and container lifecycle management.
  
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, Hyper-V).
  
• Understanding of private cloud platforms (OpenShift, OpenStack, CloudStack, VMware, Nutanix).
  
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
  
• Basic scripting skills (Bash / Python) preferred.
  
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls).
