Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced finance professional to manage the end-to-end process of book closing, preparation of financial statements with variance analysis and liaison with
auditors. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely reporting, maintain compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements, and provide insightful analysis to support decision-
making.
- Drive monthly books closing with the book keeping team
- Ensure accuracy of monthly accruals and ledger scrutiny
- Preparation of financial statements covering balance sheet, profit & loss account and cash flow statement in compliance with Indian GAAP and Companies Act.
- Detailed Variance analysis
- Continuous review of accounting process to ensure effectiveness of controls and strict compliance with DLA and company policies
- Working with consultants on deriving correct tax treatments for both direct and in- direct taxes, filing IT return and tax audit
- Liaison with senior team members for Big4 Audit and Internal Audit
Requirement:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with 1-3 years of experience
- Strong command over accounting and ability to understand and effectively apply technical accounting guidance
- Should be able to manage a team of 4-5 people
- Hands on experience on tally
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Time management & ability to prioritize work / Multitasking
- A collaborative and flexible style, with a strong aptitude to design and follow SOPs
- High integrity and a desire to work in a dynamic, merit oriented environment
- Good oral and written skills
- Ready to work from our office in HSR Layout, Bangalore (9AM - 6PM 5 days a week)
