Job Description

Role Summary

The Referral Sales Executive is responsible for generating patient referrals by building and maintaining strong relationships with referring doctors, clinics, hospitals, diagnostic centers, and healthcare partners. The role focuses on increasing patient footfall, service utilization, and specialty growth while ensuring ethical and compliant referral practices.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop relationships with referring doctors, clinics, nursing homes, and healthcare institutions within the assigned territory.
  • Promote hospital specialties, services, consultants, and treatment offerings to referral partners.
  • Generate and track patient referrals for OPD, IPD, diagnostics, procedures, and surgeries.
  • Conduct regular field visits to referral partners to strengthen engagement and trust.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (OPD, admissions, billing, patient experience, doctors) to ensure smooth patient conversion.
  • Track referral performance, conversion rates, and revenue contribution.
  • Support organizing CMEs, health talks, referral meets, and doctor engagement programs.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on referred cases and address referral partner queries.
  • Maintain accurate referral data, reports, and MIS.
  • Adhere to organizational policies, ethical standards, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Monitor competitor activities and provide market insights to the sales leadership.
  • Support hospital branding and outreach initiatives in the assigned region.

Qualifications

  • Graduation in any discipline
  • Healthcare background preferred
