Job Description
1. Knowledge of Automation/Manual testing
2. Good knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle ( SDLC ) process.
3. Sound knowledge of testing methodology, standards and procedures such as creating test scenarios and analyzing tests.
4. Ability to write test automation scripts and usage of test automation tools/frameworks.
5. Strong working knowledge of Server Operating Systems(Linux/Unix and Windows), The tester should develop effective test strategies across Frontend, Backend.
6. Ability to use your knowledge of testing to influence better software design, promote best engineering practices, bug prevention strategies, testability, and other quality attributes across products.
7. Ability to demonstrate intuition and knowledge about how to break software by finding bugs, and apply this knowledge with measurable results, impacting the quality of the product.
8. Ability to manage Test Management System.
9. Strong Analytical Skills for Requirements Gathering and translating them to test cases.
10. Understanding of Platform Engineering for API and Load testing.
11. Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating testing activities.
12. Develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools.
13. Liaise with internal teams (eg developers and product ) to identify system requirements
Technical Requirements:
1. Familiarity with Test Automation frameworks like Selenium
2. Identifying, measuring and detailing risks and recommendations on the security controls
3. Knowledge of Continuous Testing, DevOps and Test Management
4. Well versed with JIRA, Google Sheets, Excel.
5. Ability to analyze vulnerabilities appropriately characterizes threats, and provide sound remediation advice.
6. Experience with Browser Automation Tools.
7. Coding/scripting experience for Automation (Python/Java, Bash, PowerShell, etc) (Nice to Have)
