Job Description
Position Summary
Oversees the Data platforms, BI modernization and financial reporting. Demonstrate ability to deliver measurable business impact by aligning technology strategy with organisational goals. Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) Implementation, focusing on ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, integration, collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into robust data solutions
Role & responsibilities
EDW implementation: Create, manage, and optimize processes for Extract, Transform, and Load (or ELT) data from diverse source systems. Map and integrate data, ensuring consistency and accuracy between sources and the warehouse.
implement EDW/data mart structures, data models (star, snowflake schemas, Databricks) and overall architecture.
Design automate solution to streamline financial data discoverability and availability, interactive reports generation and virtualisation environment.
Implement security measures and adhere to data governance standards. Prepare technical and functional documentation for processes and systems.
Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor a team of report developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. Passionate about mentoring Talent and fostering high-performance culture.
Preferred candidate profile
Qualification:
A bachelors degree in computer science or in Information Systems.
Experience: Minimum of 12 years of experience in Business intelligence, data integration and virtualisation tools, workflow automation role in banking or financial services.
Exposure : Enterprise data ware house implementation, cloud platforms snowflakes, Databricks etc.
MUST HAVES FOR THE ROLE:
Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis and visualization. Proficiency in database management and reporting tools (e.g., Advanced Excel, SQL, BI Tools).
Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex data to management.
