We are seeking a highly competent and client-driven Virtual CFO (VCFO) to lead the finance function for a portfolio of clients The role demands strong technical expertise, business understanding, and the ability to deliver strategic financial direction The ideal candi should be capable of handling multiple client engagements independently while ensuring excellence in reporting, compliance, and advisory
Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership & Oversight
Act as the pri y finance partner for assigned clients, managing their complete finance function end-to-end
Lead financial planning activities including budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and long-term financial modelling
Develop and present thly/quarterly MIS reports, dashboards, management sum ies, and performance insights
Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements as per applicable accounting standards
Strategic Advisory & ision Support
Provide clients with strategic financial advice on cost control, growth planning, cash flow management, and working capital optimization
Identify financial risks, gaps, and opportunities, and propose actionable recommendations
Support clients with fundraising, banking support, loan documentation, investor reporting, and due-diligence-related financial inputs
Compliance & Controls
Ensure accurate and timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC filings, and other regulatory requirements Implement and strengthen internal control systems, accounting processes, and documentation frameworks
Conduct periodic financial reviews to ensure adherence to statutory and internal audit standards
Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement
Streamline accounting workflows, reporting structures, and financial processes for enhanced eAiciency
Build SOPs and process documentation for clients to support seamless operations
Introduce automation opportunities through Excel, advanced formulas, templates, and ERP tools wherever required Stakeholder Management
Liaise with auditors, bankers, consultants, and client management teams for ongoing operations and financial queries
Handle client communications professionally, ensuring trust, clarity, and timely delivery of commitments
Lead and guide internal team members working under the VCFO vertical to ensure smooth, coordinated execution of deliverables
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of accounting, finance, budgeting, taxation, and regulatory compliance
Excellent analytical ability with proficiency in Excel/Advanced Excel; exposure to ERPs, MIS tools, or automation tools is an advantage
Strong organi ional and multitasking capabilities with the ability to handle multiple clients simultaneously
Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality outputs
Qualifications & Experience
Qualified Chartered Accountant
2 to 6 years of relevant experience in Finance, FP&A, Controllership, VCFO services, Audit & Assurance, or related domains
Prior experience in managing end-to-end finance functions or multiple client portfolios is preferred
High level of professionalism, accountability, and problem-solving mindset
