Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using Cobol and CICS.
  
• Create JCL jobs to control data processing on the mainframe.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and implement solutions.
  
• Troubleshoot issues related to mainframe systems and provide technical support as needed.
  
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for mainframe development.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 5-10 years of experience in mainframe development using Cobol, CICS, JCL, etc.
  
• Strong understanding of mainframe architecture and its components (e.g., z/OS).
  
• Proficiency in creating complex SQL queries for database interactions.
  
• Experience working on large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders.
