Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer B2 with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS SQL Spring Boot Java JavaScript and MySQL. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of both remote and in-office work with no travel required. The candidate will contribute to innovative projects that drive our company's success and positively impact society.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java Spring Boot and JavaScript.
- Utilize AWS services to design and implement scalable and reliable cloud-based applications.
- Write efficient SQL queries and manage MySQL databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues ensuring minimal disruption to the development process.
- Implement automated testing frameworks to ensure the reliability and stability of software applications.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve development processes.
- Participate in Agile development methodologies including sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance to help them grow their technical skills.
- Contribute to the design and architecture of new features and enhancements.
- Ensure that all software solutions are secure and comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Document technical specifications and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Qualifications
- Possess strong expertise in AWS SQL Spring Boot Java JavaScript and MySQL.
- Demonstrate experience in developing and maintaining cloud-based applications using AWS services.
- Exhibit proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries and managing MySQL databases.
- Show experience in Agile development methodologies and collaborative teamwork.
- Have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Display strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in Asset & Wealth Management is a plus.
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and best practices is desirable.
- Ability to mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
- Commitment to staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Strong understanding of software security and compliance standards.
- Excellent documentation skills for technical specifications and project documentation.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.
