Job Description
Role Objective
The team works on checking Maps Data current and reflective of real world changes. They work on samples of a city and check to evaluate all attributes (Locations, Names, Platforms, Entrances & Exits, Positions) for different modes of transportations in the maps vs different trustworthy sources via Web Search.
Responsibilities/ Expectations:
- Should have fair knowledge about navigation on Google Maps & Geo Data
- Should have Transit Experience & Knowledge
- Should be able to work independently and understand his/her performance metrics
- Making sure the listings are completed within the defined SLA/TAT time
- Working on the listings and making sure to achieve project specific quality.
- Should be able to work 24/7 across all shifts.
- Internal and external hires must go through the AMCAT 3.1 assessment and clear [Threshold: EC(34), LA(31), DI(30)]
Desired Qualities:
- Graduate with a related field or equivalent experience
- Experience : Min Experience required: PE (0-1 year + similar industry or role)
- Basic understanding of the Transit knowledge
- Attention to detail
- Good English communication skills are required.
- Ability to work under the stipulated timelines
- Should be able to identify the area of opportunity and bring it to the notice of pod lead
- Should be able to work in different shifts depending on the business requirement
Technical Skills:
- Work and analyze linear and Non Linear features
- Exposure to systematization of rendering and visualization techniques to check the vector data.
- Understanding of new approaches design of map-related representations in-built tool
- Understanding of basic GIS map components and its terminology is added advantage
- Should be Tech savvy
- Should have the ability to work on Excel/ Sheets
- Basic understanding of PLX ,SQL will be added advantage
