Position: Safety Engineer
Location: Gujarat / Tamil Nadu / Maharashtra

Role Overview:
The Safety Engineer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and implementing safety systems for Wind Turbine (WT) Operation & Maintenance sites. The role involves close coordination with site teams to promote safe work practices and compliance with industry standards, particularly GWO guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
1)Implement, monitor, and enforce safety standards across Wind Turbine O&M sites.
2)Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and hazard identification activities.
3)Ensure compliance with GWO safety practices and client-specific safety protocols.
4)Deliver toolbox talks, safety training sessions, and emergency preparedness drills.
5)Investigate incidents/near-misses, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
6)Maintain and update safety documentation, permits, and compliance records.
7)Coordinate with site teams and contractors to ensure adherence to safety requirements.
8)Support in the development and continuous improvement of safety management systems.
9)Ensure the safe execution of high-risk jobs including work-at-height and manual handling tasks.
Qualifications:
1)Diploma in Fire & Safety (mandatory)
2)Minimum Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory for candidates with wind turbine experience)
Experience:
1)Minimum 35 years of total experience in safety roles
2)Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Wind Turbine (WT) Operation & Maintenance

6)Fire Fighting
7)First Aid
8)(Valid GWO certifications are mandatory before onboarding.)
Compensation Details
CTC: 5.5 to 6.0 LPA all inclusive
Food Allowance: 4,000 (separate from salary)
Accommodation Allowance (PLT): 3500
Work Details:
Working hours: 10 hours day (6 days a week)
Above 4 hours OT in a full month that will be paid
Leave & Holidays:
1)21 holidays in a year (other than Sundays)
2)15 Casual Leaves
3)6 Sick Leaves
4)Holidays are not carried forward
