Job Description: Solution Engineer iPaaS Position Overview We are looking for a Solution Engineer iPaaS to take contribute towards the lifecycle, governance, and enablement of the Boomi integration platform. This role is not primarily about building integrations but about ensuring that the platform is reliable, scalable, and effectively leveraged by application teams across the business. You will act as a Boomi subject matter expert, supporting architects in shaping integration strategies and guiding application teams in building on the platform. You will also play a key role in platform operations, rollout of new features, and driving adoption of best practices to ensure high-quality, resilient integration solutions. Key Responsibilities Serve as the expert on the Boomi platform, ensuring optimal configuration, scalability, and availability. Support architects in defining platform standards, governance, and integration best practices. Guide and enable application and business teams to build high-quality solutions on Boomi. Monitor the platform lifecycle including upgrades, patches, connectors, and new capability rollouts. Ensure platform security, compliance, and monitoring are embedded in the integration landscape. Act as a trusted advisor for performance tuning, error handling, retries, and logging strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot platform-level and integration-level issues. Provide and maintain technical documentation related to the platform (architecture diagrams, flow guides, configuration documentation). Contribute to change and release management processes for platform updates and integration rollouts. Required Technical Skills Deep understanding of iPaaS platforms, with hands-on experience in Boomi (AtomSphere). Solid grasp of integration patterns (API, file-based, event-driven, EDI). Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and hybrid integration setups. Knowledge of common protocols (REST, SOAP, AS2, SFTP, FTP, HTTP/S) and data formats (XML, JSON, EDIFACT, X12, CSV). Experience with platform monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Strong understanding of error handling, retries, logging, and observability best practices. Problem-Solving & Analysis Strong analytical mindset with proven ability to debug platform and integration issues. Experience identifying root causes at both platform and flow levels. Skilled at performance optimization and proactive issue prevention. Soft Skills & Collaboration Excellent communication skills, capable of bridging technical and business perspectives. Proven ability to coach and guide application teams in leveraging the platform. Customer-focused and collaborative, with the ability to work in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban). Strong stakeholder management and the ability to work across IT, business, and vendor teams. Documentation & Process Skilled in preparing platform documentation, including governance models, technical standards, and reference architectures. Familiarity with change management, release processes, and ITIL practices. Preferred Qualifications Boomi certifications (e.g., Boomi Professional Developer, Boomi Architect, Boomi Administrator). Experience with enterprise-scale platform rollouts. Exposure to platform governance frameworks and center of excellence (CoE) models.
