Snowflake Data Engineer @ Softtek

Job Description

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake.
• Develop and implement ETL processes to transform and consolidate data from various sources.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to define data requirements and provide timely data solutions.
• Monitor and optimize performance of data workflows and storage within Snowflake.
• Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing necessary validation and verification processes.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to data pipelines and processes.
• Stay updated with Snowflake features and best practices to enhance performance and efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Proficiency in Snowflake, including data modeling, performance tuning, and query optimization.
• Strong experience in SQL and data warehousing concepts.
• Knowledge of ETL tools and processes, preferably with experience in tools like Apache Airflow or Informatica.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is a plus.
• Experience with programming languages like Python or Java for data manipulation and automation tasks.
• Understanding of data governance and security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
• Creation and maintenance of Power Apps applications Maintenance and management of Snowflake infrastructure (creating procedures, tables, tasks, etc.)
• Creation of automations in Flow for Power BI reports Creation and maintenance of pipelines from AWS to SNF Creation of Lambda functions and jobs in AWS to move data from external sources such as SQL and APIs to SNF as the final destination Python variable tasks, file conversion, etc.
