Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP QM Consultant with strong functional expertise in SAP Quality Management processes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in QM configuration, integration with other SAP modules, and end-to-end implementation/support in large-scale environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver SAP QM module configurations, enhancements, and support.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Configure SAP QM processes including:
- Quality Planning
- Quality Inspection
- Quality Notifications
- Quality Certificates
- Audit Management
- Sampling Procedures
- Inspection Lot Processing
- Support integration with SAP MM, PP & PM modules.
- Configure and handle Master Data materials, MICs, sampling, inspection plans, etc.
- Manage end-to-end testing (Unit, Integration, UAT).
- Handle QM in procurement, in-process, and final inspection.
- Assist in interfaces, enhancements, reports (RICEFW).
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery.
- Provide production support, incident management, and root cause analysis.
- Participate in SAP rollouts, upgrades, and S/4 HANA migration.
- Prepare documentation including FS, Config guides, Test scripts, User training manuals.
Mandatory Skills
- 6+ years of hands-on functional experience in SAP QM. Strong configuration knowledge of:
- Inspection Types
- Quality Notification Process
- Inspection Plans & Results Recording
- Usage Decisions
- Quality Certificates
- Good understanding of SAP MM/PP integrations.
- Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP implementation.
- Ability to write functional specs for ABAP developments.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with S/4 HANA (QM Fiori apps & new processes).
- Exposure to Pharma / Manufacturing / Automotive domain.
- Knowledge of QM-PM, QM-WM integrations.
- Hands-on with IDoc processing, interfaces, and workflows.
- SAP Certification (QM) is a plus.
Education
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering / Science / Computer Science
- SAP Certified Associate (QM) preferred but not mandatory
