Position Overview
We are looking for a senior business development leader to build and scale Tracxns Event Partnerships & Alliances vertical from scratch (01).
This role will focus on forging strategic partnerships with startup, investor, technology, and ecosystem event organizers in India and globally to drive business growth, brand visibility, and revenue.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in partnership-led growth, ecosystem sales, or event-led business development, with the ability to independently launch, structure, and scale a new initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and build the Event Partnerships & Alliances vertical end-to-end (01 initiative).
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard strategic partnerships with startup, VC, enterprise, and government-focused event organizers (India & global).
- Design winwin partnership models including sponsorships, data partnerships, co-branded offerings, lead-sharing, and platform access.
- Work closely with event organizers to position Tracxn as the preferred intelligence and ecosystem partner.
- Drive measurable business outcomes from events, including leads, demos, conversions, and long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Product, Research) to execute event-led GTM strategies.
- Build a scalable pipeline of recurring event partnerships across regions and sectors.
- Track and report partnership performance metrics, ROI, and revenue impact to leadership.
- Contribute to strategic planning on brand positioning, ecosystem expansion, and partnership-led growth.
Requirements
- 710 years of experience in Partnerships, Alliances, Business Development, Ecosystem Sales, or Event-led GTM roles.
- Proven track record of working with event organizers, ecosystem platforms, accelerators, VCs, or industry bodies.
- Experience in launching and scaling new partnership initiatives from scratch.
- Strong negotiation, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to structure commercial and non-commercial partnership models.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with high ownership.
- Based in Bangalore or willing to relocate.
