Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the companys general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
Use JDE software to manage financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decision-making.
Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations, and manage any localization efforts as needed.
Required Skills
Proficiency in Finance Foundation: The candidate must have a strong understanding of financial concepts and principles, and be able to apply them in a business context.
Expertise in General Ledger: The candidate should have a deep understanding of general ledger accounting, including the ability to manage and reconcile accounts.
Knowledge of JDE: The candidate must have experience working with JDE (JD Edwards) software, specifically in a financial context.
The candidate must possess a Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, with a preference for those holding an advanced degree or relevant certifications.
Preferred Skills
Real Estate: Experience in real estate accounting or finance would be beneficial.
Environmental Accounting: Knowledge of environmental accounting principles and practices would be an asset.
Localization: Experience with localization, including understanding of local tax laws and regulations, would be beneficial.
Expense: Experience in expense management and reporting would be an advantage.
Advanced JDE: Advanced knowledge of JDE, beyond the basic requirement, would be a plus.
Job Costing: Experience in job costing, including the ability to accurately estimate costs and manage budgets, would be beneficial.
Service Contract Billing: Experience in service contract billing, including understanding of contract terms and billing procedures, would be an asset.
Financial Analysis: Ability to analyze financial data and make recommendations based on findings.
Project Management: Experience in managing financial projects, including budgeting and timeline management.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
