Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable backend systems using .NET Framework
Prior experience in application modernization is preferred
Architect and implement microservices-based applications with RESTful APIs, web sockets, and centralized UI integration.
Drive database modernization - transition from MSSQL to PostgreSQL
Implement caching strategies using Redis/ElastiCache for performance optimization.
Implement best practices - secure coding, token authentication, vulnerability mitigation etc.
Work with AWS services such as CDK, Lambda, API Gateway, Redshift to build cloud-native solutions.
Hands-on experience using Git, CI / CD pipeline for deployment
Own application monitoring & logging using modern observability tools (e.g., distributed tracing, proactive issue detection).
Collaborate with UI developers to build and integrate React-based frontend components
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, conducting reviews and ensuring code quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong hands-on expertise with .NET Framework (v4+) and .NET Core (v6-v9) .
Proficiency with Entity Framework (ORM queries), Stored procedures and database design principles .
Solid understanding of MSSQL and PostgreSQL schema design.
Strong knowledge of microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems .
Proficient in AWS Cloud services (CDK, Lambda, API Gateway).
Strong understanding of application security best practices in .NET.
Hands-on experience in using with Redis/ElastiCache .
Excellent leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills.
Ability to Adapt to new AI technologies and Tools - Must have
