About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Full Stack Technical Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can architect, design, and lead the development of high-performance, scalable applications. This role requires deep expertise across the full stack front-end (React or Vue) and back-end (Python or Node.js) with a specific focus on leveraging Generative AI for rapid application development. You will be instrumental in building the next generation of intelligent, user-centric applications, providing technical leadership, and mentoring a team of talented engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership & Architecture:
- Serve as the technical authority for the team, guiding architectural decisions and ensuring the design of robust, scalable, and secure systems.
- Lead the full software development lifecycle from ideation and requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, clean code.
- Hands-on Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain front-end applications using either React or Vue.js, ensuring a responsive and intuitive user experience.
- Build and maintain scalable back-end services and APIs using Python or Node.js.
- Integrate and orchestrate various Generative AI models (e.g., LLMs, image generation models) to build innovative, AI-powered features.
- Generative AI Application Development:
- Drive the rapid development and prototyping of Gen AI-powered applications.
- Develop and implement prompt engineering strategies to optimize model performance and output.
- Architect and implement solutions using frameworks and tools for Gen AI, such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar.
- Utilize vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, ChromaDB) and techniques like Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to build context-aware applications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Gen AI, machine learning, and AI-powered development tools to continuously enhance our product offerings.
- Team & Project Management:
- Mentor and coach junior and mid-level developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Manage project timelines, allocate resources, and ensure timely delivery of features.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Full Stack Expertise:
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or Technical Lead.
- Front-End: Strong proficiency in either React and/or Vue.js. Expertise in state management (Redux/Zustand or Vuex/Pinia), component-based architecture, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Back-End: Deep experience with either Python (e.g., Flask, Django) or Node.js (e.g., Express.js, NestJS).
- Databases: Proficiency with both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases.
- APIs: Extensive experience in designing and building RESTful APIs or GraphQL services.
- Generative AI Development:
- Practical experience in building applications that integrate with and utilize Generative AI models (e.g., OpenAIs GPT, Google Gemini, Anthropics Claude).
- Hands-on experience with AI-specific frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Hugging Face.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering techniques and the ability to optimize model interactions for specific use cases.
- Experience with vector databases and RAG architecture is a significant plus.
- Leadership & Soft Skills:
- Prior experience in a leadership role, with a track record of mentoring and managing development teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices (Docker, CI/CD, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Contributions to open-source projects, particularly in the Gen AI or full-stack domains.
A bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
