Job Description
Job Title: Sr. AWS DevOps Engineer Location: [Bangalore]Job Type: Full-time Job Summary We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure on AWS. This role is critical to enabling reliable deployments, scalable systems, and secure environments. You will leverage Terraform for infrastructure automation, manage CI/CD pipelines with AWS DevOps, and support containerized workloads on EKS. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform (advanced modules, state management, custom providers).
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS DevOps tools (CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodeCommit).
- Manage source code in Bitbucket, including branching strategies and integrations with pipelines.
- Deploy and maintain EKS clusters, including ingress controllers, service mesh, and Helm-based workloads.
- Implement security best practices across AWS, Kubernetes, and networking, including IAM roles, policies, and secrets.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, and OpenSearch/ELK.
- Automate environment provisioning across dev, staging, and production.
- Support incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployments and improve developer experience.
- Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-sharing.
- 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud, or SRE roles.
- Strong expertise in Terraform (complex modules, workspaces, IaC best practices).
- Experience with Bitbucket for source control and integrations.
- Proficiency in AWS services: IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, ElastiCache, CloudFront.
- Hands-on with AWS DevOps stack (CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodeCommit).
- Containers Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), Helm.
- Scripting: Bash and Python; solid Linux administration.
- Strong knowledge of networking (VPCs, Security Groups, load balancers, DNS).
- Monitoring Observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK/OpenSearch.
- Experience scaling Kubernetes clusters and managing ingress traffic.
- Familiarity with multi-environment deployments and automated workflows.
- Knowledge of AWS service quotas, cost optimization, and networking nuances.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and effective communication across teams.
- Prior experience in regulated environments (HIPAA, SOC2, ISO27001) is a plus.
