What Does a Sales Representative Do?

As a Sales Representative, you will play a key role in achieving our customer acquisition and revenue goals. You should be confident in engaging with existing and potential customers via calls and chat, collaborating with channel partners, identifying opportunities, qualifying prospects, and closing sales.


Responsibilities

  • Generate new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and proactive outbound calls/emails.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Identify customer needs and present relevant product/service solutions effectively.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Stay updated on product features, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Research accounts, identify key decision-makers, and generate interest.
  • Maintain and grow your prospect database within the assigned territory.

Requirements & Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of telecalling sales experienceexperience with technical products is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer-handling skills.
  • Good understanding of CRM systems and sales tools.
  • Strong listening, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and passionate about sales.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and manage time efficiently.
